The Insides Company is pleased to announce the registration of The Insides System under the Malaysia Medical Device Authority (MDA).
The MDA certification grants The Insides System clearance to market in Malaysia, marking a key regulatory milestone as the company expands into Southeast Asia. This achievement aligns with The Insides Company’s mission to deliver global access to chyme reinfusion therapy for intestinal failure and intestinal rehabilitation.
The Insides System is the world’s first purpose-built medical device enabling chyme reinfusion therapy in patients with high-output enterostomies and enterocutaneous fistulas. The system helps restore intestinal continuity, recommence oral feeding, reduce parenteral nutrition dependency and hospitalisation, and lower the risk of associated complications.
